RACOM Day in Blansko

This year’s traditional RACOM Day was all about discovery, movement, and great team spirit. The event was hosted by our colleagues in the Blansko facility, who welcomed us into the SMT production center. We had the chance to take a closer look at the process of assembling printed circuit boards which we manufacture not only for our own products but also for external clients.

Hiking Through the Moravian Karst
As always, RACOM Day included a sports element. Most participants arrived by bus from Nové Město and set off on a scenic hike through the picturesque surroundings of our SMT center. The route led us from the Macocha Abyss through Punkevní žleb and the Macocha Cave, all the way to the Skalní Mlýn area. Stunning views and relaxed conversations made for a memorable walk.

Cyclists in Action
And of course, our dedicated group of cyclists wasn’t missing either. Eight brave colleagues took on an 85 km ride from Nové Město to Blansko. They split into two groups, with the fastest riders completing the route in an impressive 2 hours and 45 minutes.

Storm? Just Another Challenge
Once back at the facility, we enjoyed a guided tour of the production line, followed by a relaxed gathering with refreshments. Homemade desserts prepared by our talented colleagues were a real highlight. Even a strong thunderstorm and gusty winds didn’t stop us — we held onto the party tents together and kept the good mood going well into the evening.
