RACOM also produces most of the mechanical parts for its products. After the expansion and modernization of our mechanical production in 2022, we have spare capacity in the new hall, which we offer for use by other companies. This gives them the unique opportunity to use our state-of-the-art equipment, for example, to machine aluminium alloys to the highest precision.

We are experts in the precision machining of aluminium, because for 15 years we have been producing microwave units with parts demanding extreme precision, at the limits of machining techniques. We machine aluminium castings, into which we mount our radio modems and microwaves. We make metal shells for the installation of our cellular routers. We can of course also do all other operations for the production of mechanical parts, including their design and construction.

CNC machining
We specialize in machining aluminum with high precision, but we can also machine other materials. We currently have three CNC milling machines from the Czech company Kovosvit. We have enough capacity in our machining shop, air-conditioned (± 3 oC) to allow us to achieve extreme precision, and we will be adding further CNC machines.

Other
Most of the parts for our products need to be extremely clean, which is why we are equipped with several washing machines.
In addition to the degreasing washing machine, we also have two ultrasonic cleaners available. After the washing process, we dry all products in an industrial chamber dryer.

One of the few things RACOM does not do in-house is the final surface treatment of our products. However, we have been cooperating with proven suppliers of these technologies for a long time. In cooperation we are able to provide powder coating (komaxit), or galvanic surface treatment (zinc coating, anodizing, etc.)
If you are interested, we are able to provide for comprehensive delivery and have your products varnished or otherwise surface treated.
We can mark or describe your parts or products with a laser from the Czech company Medicom.
