WaSP is radio equipment specifically designed, and is to be installed as a part of an equipment that is exclusively used for activities concerning public security, defence, State security, including the economic well-being of the State in the case of activities pertaining to State security matters, and the activities of the State in the area of criminal law.

2021/821, setting up a Community regime for the control of exports, transfer, brokering and
transit of dual-use items. Units are subject to export control when exporting outside the
European union, according to national, EU and US law (ECCN 5A001.b.3.b),
